HOW IT WORKS
Is there an age limit?
Yes. Our games are designed for players ages 15+. Children ages 12-15 must have at least 1 adult participant with them. Children younger than 12 can play only if there is an adult participant and if the entire room is booked privately by your group. Keep in mind that the rooms are designed to be challenging for adults and younger children may find the puzzles too difficult or confusing to solve by themselves.
How do I book a game?
All games must be booked through our website. The website shows the most up-to-date availability for games on Thursday nights, Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays. If you would like to book a game during a time outside our general operating hours, please contact us at email@example.com .
Am I really going to be locked in a room? That sounds terrifying.
It's not a scary experience at all. Your group will be locked in a room, but we will let you out if you need to leave or take a break.
What happens if I can't escape in an hour?
Don't worry, we'll still let you out (turns out kidnapping is bad for repeat business). Solving the puzzles will be much more satisfying though.
What do I get if I escape in time?
Eternal glory. Full bragging rights. More importantly, a really fun hour of entertainment (though, to be fair, the people who don't escape will get this, too).
Do we need to make a reservation in advance?
How much does it cost?
Games cost $25 per person plus tax.
How many people can play at the same time?
For Lunar Lockdown and Enchanted Kingdom, the maximum is 6 people. For A Study in Murder, the maximum is 8 people. Our recommendation is 3-6 for Enchanted Kingdom and Lunar Lockdown, and 6-8 person teams for A Study in Murder.
Is there a chance I would play with strangers?
Unless you book the entire room, you may be paired with other players. To book an entire room, purchase the maximum capacity for that specific game room (6 for Lunar Lockdown and Enchanted Kingdom, 8 for A Study in Murder). To book multiple players, first select the number of players from the Participant dropdown box at the top of the Book Now page.
How do I book a private event?
To book an entire room, purchase the maximum capacity for that specific game room (6 for Lunar Lockdown and Enchanted Kingdom, 8 for A Study in Murder). To book multiple players, first select the number of players from the Participant dropdown box at the top of the Book Now page. If you would like to book a private event during a weekday time not listed on the booking site, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
When should I arrive for my game?
Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time. Games will begin exactly at their start times and latecomers will not be permitted into the room.
What should I bring with me?
All the wits, reasoning, and sleuthing skills you can muster. Leave the bolt cutters at home. The answers to the clues and puzzles are all in the room, but it's up to you to find them!
Can I take pictures?
Photos are not allowed inside the game rooms so we can keep the clues and puzzles secret for future players. We're happy to take a group photo in our lobby afterwards!
Can I bring alcohol into the room?
Alcohol is not allowed in the room. If players are intoxicated, they may be turned away and no refund will be given.
